22 Days of Bliss

August of 2011 was definitely a month I have waited for since last year. Although there were so many things that went wrong, I want to focus on what went right.

As I reflect on the 22 days I spent with Joseph, I have to admit that there were so much more we could have done together. We missed out on a couple of things because of unexpected events. But I do cherish all the wonderful moments we shared.

Before coming home to the Philippines, he was already preparing the equipment he needed to film the whole experience. He bought a Panasonic Lumix GH1, prime lenses, a tripod, and even made his own slider! That’s how determined he was. I didn’t really mind much about it because to me, it doesn’t matter if we took pictures or videos with a digital camera because it’s the memory that counts.

But when he showed me all the videos and pictures he took, I thought: Wow, that’s amazing! I guess he made me eat my own words. There, I said it!

I made sure he gave me copies of every picture he took. I won’t post them here because that would take up a lot of space. Just know that they are THE BOMB!

When he went back to the states, he took his time editing the videos. I wasn’t really that excited about it because I’m a boss. lol!

But when he finally finished it and showed it to me…my jaw literally dropped, okay. If you want to know why, just check this out:

Do I need to say anything more? Watching this makes me realize how memorable August truly was. It reminds me every day that although our time together was short-lived, it was all worth it.

This could honestly pass for an ad to go to the Philippines ^^, I really like the editing he did and all the effects…I wish I could be like that ^^,

You’re not the first person to say that Alice, I definitely agree with you! Thank you for watching 🙂

Omg, so late on this, but this looks amazing! Looks like you two had such a great time, and the way this was captured looks like you could use this in a TV episode! 🙂
