A glance at Coastal Scents Blush Too palette
The Coastal Scents Blush Too palette is a recent product that came out a month or two ago. When I saw the colors it had, I freaked out. I’ve been eyeing the original one for quite some time, but I never felt the need to actually get it since I have the 42 Shimmer palette with the 10-pc blush set too. This new one is a different story though. It has loud and soft colors that are definitely right up my alley. Coastal Scents Blush Too Palette Details:
- It’s available at www.coastalscents.com
- It retails for $19.95 but is currently down to $15.95
- It contains 10 colors and placed in a black sleek palette
When I found out that the Coastal Scents Blush Too palette was down to $9.95, I instantly placed an order along with another product that I will do a separate post on (subscribe to my blog to get instant update on it) It was impulsive, I know, but I couldn’t resist and come on! Who could pass that up?! Here’s how the Coastal Scents Blush Too packaging looks like:
And here’s the actual product:
And here are the beautiful colors contained in the palette . FYI, this is as close to the real colors as I could capture with my handy dandy iphone! I was too excited to set up my camera, forgive me!
Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Who would not drool over these colors? Don’t worry, I know what you are looking for… swatches! Let’s ignore the hairy arms ok? Here are the five colors on the first row (L-R):
The top row is definitely more on the soft, you-can-wear-every-day side. They suit all skin tones which is awesome, and you can even pick a color for each day of the week (lol)
And here are the colors from the second row (L-R):
It’s pretty obvious that these are a lot more loud and suited for a night out or generally a special event/night time look. But if you’re the adventurous type who loves playing around with colors, then go ahead and use these! Just make sure you use a light hand because these are very pigmented in my opinion.
Generally, the colors are amazing, they are decently pigmented in a sense that you really don’t need to dig into the pan to get it to “come up” on your face. Some of the darker colors are a little bit powdery, but nothing that is concerning. For the amount that I paid, the Coastal Scents Blush Too palette is definitely one of my best buys.
If you are a makeup enthusiast, makeup artist, or an aspiring makeup artist trying to build your kit, then this is a must-have in my book!
For its regular price, It’s really not too bad if you compared it to buying individual blushes that are sold for $15-$20. Although, there are blush palettes you can get individually for less than $3 but you have to get a palette to put them in.
So, the best move would be to sign up for updates from Coastal Scents and watch out for another sale!
