Express your Style!

In this generation, social networking has become more than just a means to connect with other people. It has become the most effective way to express ourselves in terms of beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and artistry. What fuels these is the idea that we are capable of sharing them to the rest of the world.

I’m one of those people. I’ve signed up to more than one site that caters to specific interests. Having to juggle so many accounts, I sometimes neglect one or more. So, when I came across clozette.co I was blown away.

Clozzete.co is the  Southeast Asia partner of the US-based Glam Media, the world’s 2nd largest social network. I cannot begin to describe how this site works, so I guess I will have to show you.

Down below you will see a rough image of the website’s beauty section. Here. you can find a variety of beauty tips, beauty secrets, and of course beauty trends. It uses how-to videos, forums or discussions, and of course blog posts to share the latest about health & beauty.

Once you’ve signed up there are six different areas on your profile: Likes, Desires, Closet, Looks, Styles, Bazaar. To summarize everything, you basically upload photos of any items you desire as they fall into different categories like skin care, hair, jewelry, dresses, etc.

Then, you upload photos of items you have purchased and store them in your closet. From these items, you can create looks and place them in your Styles. You can also put together an outfit of the day and share it to the community in your Looks.

If you feel like you’ve shopped one too many, or you simply want a wardrobe change, you can sell items in your closet in your Bazaar.

HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! It’s sensational, I know.

The best part about all of this is that you can share all of these with the rest of the community. You can find reviews of products, opinions, and feedback from several others who may share the same desires, or have tried the products that you’re interested in.

Another thing is that you can shop the items you find in the site! They have integrated several online stores and made their items available in one place. So you can compile your wish lists in one single website for future reference and purchase them with one click.

Here are some of the things I have shared in my profile.

It’s a one-stop online social network, portfolio and web magazine. i can’t wait to upload items in my closet and make reviews just like the videos I make in YouTube. I’m very excited about this site, and I hope to build my profile and interact with other people who share my passions.

So, if you’re one of us, and your eyes lit up as I described how the site works, then go ahead and check it out for yourself! Maybe we might bump into each other. As you can tell from the feature page of the site, it’s not hard to spot me…and you. Share it to your friends, relatives, a stranger!

Technology and internet amazes me. I don’t know what I would do without it. I would metaphorically die. In the mean time, I’m going to spend hours and hours in front of my handy dandy laptop and see what the rest of the interwebs has to offer.

my mother, bless her heart, knows im an avid MAC lover. so today, a lady went into her oifcfe and sold her “MAC” and “Dolce & Gabanna” cosmetics. at first glance (even at first smell) i knew they were fake. but just to make sure, i googled and came across this site. now im 200% certain that my poor mother was suckered into buying a fake product. IN FACT, the 12 color eyeshadow cream palette and a blush with a 2nd compact and brush were actually two of the items she bought! i knew that MAC never came out with it either, but how do i tell her this w/o making her feel like a total sucker??? anyway, thanks for the great article!
